MARCH OF REMEMBRANCE AND HOPE

The March of Remembrance and Hope (MRH) Canada is a weeklong study and leadership mission in Germany and Poland. Its goal is to educate students from all backgrounds about the horrors of antisemitism and racism, and to teach them about the consequences of hatred, bigotry and prejudice.

POLAND IN THE ROCKIES

Poland in the Rockies is an 11-day international educational program bringing together university students, young professionals and distinguished speakers from Canada, the United States, Great Britain and Poland for an immersion in identity, community, and the history that formed us.

Set in the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Canmore, Alberta, Poland in the Rockies is an intensive, intellectually stimulating program covering history and culture, discussing contemporary issues and the Polish heritage, making new friends, and strengthening our local communities while creating links with the world-wide Polish community.

QUO VADIS CONFERENCE

"Quo Vadis?" is a nationwide conference which will bring together students, graduates and young professionals for a weekend of discussion, activities and events centered on these three points: heritage, leadership and unity. All participants will have the opportunity to network with one another and meet with current leaders of the Polish-Canadian community while reflecting on how these points affect us as up-and-coming leaders of Polonia in Canada!

YOUTH MOBILITY PROGRAM

The Youth Mobility Agreement Canada - Poland provides 500 young Poles and 500 young Canadians each year with the opportunity to acquire professional or hands-on experience, as well as to improve their knowledge of languages, culture and society of the other country, while holding a temporary work permit.

As a young Polish citizen, you can work anywhere in Canada for up to a year. It is a great way of getting to know Canada and making new friends!

The Youth Mobility Program Canada - Poland allows Polish and Canadian citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to work under one of the following categories:

• Professional development  
  This program is designed for young professionals wishing to gain further training in their field with a contract of employment (maximum 12 months).

• Internship / On-the-Job Training  
  This program is designed for students wishing to complete an internship or work placement in the course of their studies in Poland (maximum 12 months).

• Working-Holiday Program (WHP)  
  This program is designed for young citizens, including registered students in their home country, who intend to travel in the host country and who wish to obtain paid employment on an occasional basis in order to supplement their financial resources (maximum 12 months).

CANADIAN POLISH MILLENIUM FUND STUDENT GRANT

The goal of the Fund is to promote and offer financial assistance for activities relating to Polish culture, assist students of Polish descent and Polish schools, libraries, academic institutions, the Polish Scouts and other Polish-community youth organizations in Canada.

DR. JERZY JARMASZ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation was created to preserve and actively encourage knowledge of Polish language, history and culture among the residents of Polish background so as to foster a well-informed, self-confident, and culturally-rich community, comfortable in the Canadian social environment, and ready to make a positive contribution to Canadian society
